    O artigo apresenta resultados de pesquisa realizada em uma instituição de Educação Infantil, cuja temática central envolve o trabalho da coordenadora pedagógica nesta etapa da Educação Básica e a influência das políticas públicas em sua atuação na instituição pública de ensino. O estudo buscou compreender o trabalho desenvolvido por esta profissional junto à professora, no cotidiano de uma instituição pública de Educação Infantil, considerando as políticas públicas municipais. Com abordagem qualitativa, o caminho teórico-metodológico perpassou pelos referenciais sobre a Educação Infantil, a coordenadora pedagógica e o campo das políticas públicas, com foco na abordagem do ciclo de políticas. Os resultados da investigação apontam para a influência direta das políticas públicas na atuação da coordenadora pedagógica, a divergência da política municipal adotada com os próprios textos dos documentos municipais e, por conseguinte, a distância das práticas da coordenadora pedagógica com o que apontam os documentos oficiais.

    The article presents results of research conducted in a school of Early Childhood Education, whose central theme involves the work of the pedagogical coordinator in this stage of Basic Education and the influence of public policies on their performance in the public educational institution. The study sought to understand the work developed by this professional, together with the teacher, in the daily life of a public institution of Early Childhood Education, considering municipal public policies. With a qualitative approach, the theoretical-methodological path went through the references on Early Childhood Education, the pedagogical coordinator and the field of public policies, focusing on the approach of the policy cycle. The results of the investigation point to the direct influence of public policies on the performance of the pedagogical coordinator, the divergence of the municipal policy adopted with the texts of the municipal documents themselves and, consequently, the distance from the pedagogical coordinator's practices with what the official documents point out.
