    El legado de Blanche Selva (1884-1942), figura notable y polifacética (intérprete, pedagoga, editora, compositora y teórica) en una época y contexto muy trascendentales para la historia del piano apenas es conocido en comparación con el de otras personalidades de su tiempo, existiendo muy pocos estudios sobre ella en nuestro país. Esta investigación, con la intención de facilitar el acceso, difusión y comprensión de su texto e ideas principales, realizará una puesta en valor de su figura centrada en su faceta como pianista investigadora, aportando una visión contextualizada de su teoría técnica. Para ello se relacionarán los datos más significativos de su biografía, se establecerá su relación con la corriente de la tecnología pianística y se extraerán y expondrán los fundamentos de su tratado de manera organizada, sintetizada y visual. Mediante la revisión bibliográfica, su traducción y análisis se ha conseguido esbozar una visión contextualizada del pensamiento de la autora a pesar de la dificultad de acceso a las fuentes y la traducción de la información. Por último, durante el transcurso de la investigación, el acceso a reseñas periodísticas de la época nos ha permitido ampliar la recuperación de sus aportaciones pudiendo recomponer y analizar la recepción de la autora en el contexto cultural musical de la Andalucía de principios del siglo XX.

    The legacy of Blanche Selva (1884-1942), a notable and multitalented figure (performer, pedagogue, editor, composer and theoretician) in a very transcendental time and context for the history of the piano, it is hardly known compared to that of other personalities of his time, and there are very few studies on her in our country. This research, with the intention of facilitating access, dissemination and understanding of its text and main ideas, it will value her figure centered on her role as a researcher pianist, providing a contextualized view of her technical theory. To achieve this, the most significant data of his biography will be presented, his relationship with the current of piano technology will be established and the foundations of his treatise will be extracted and presented in an organized, synthesized and visual manner. Through the bibliographic review, its translation and analysis, it has been possible to outline a contextualized vision of the author's thought despite the difficulty of access to the sources and the translation of the information. Finally, during the course of the investigation, the access to journalistic reviews of the time has allowed us to expand the recovery of her contributions, being able to recompose and analyze the reception of the author in the musical cultural context of Andalusia at the beginning of the 20th century.
