      The main objective of this work is to evaluate the impact of Cursinho Edificar in the approval of students in higher education courses in the region of Cariri in Ceará. To achieve the objective of this work, a Google Forms questionnaire was applied to 441 people who participated, or not, in the Cursinho Edificar, using the Propensity Score Matching (PSM) methodology and the nearest neighbor technique. From the results, it was possible to perceive favorable and positive evidence about approvals in higher education after students participated in the Cursinho Edificar. On average, participating in Edificar increased the chances of students entering regional higher education by 66%. Thus, it can be inferred that this action meets the desired objectives.
