Ministerio y potestas: Una reflexión teológico sobre el ministerio ordenado y el poder en los documentos del Concilio Vaticano II

    El presente artículo presenta algunas claves de la visión del Concilio Vaticano II sobre el ministerio ordenado, articulándolas en torno a cinco perspectivas fundamentales: 1) la fundamentación eclesiológica-pneumatológica del ministerio y la superación del marco cristológico tradicional; 2) la ratio teológica identificada en la custodia de la apostolicidad de la fe y en el servicio al ‘nosotros eclesial’ institucionalizado; 3) la estructuración tripartita; 4) la colegialidad; y 5) el abandono del esquema de las dos potestates (ordinis, iurisdictionis) y la asunción del modelo de los tria munera Christi. En cada caso se indican las implicaciones para repensar el poder/potestas y la autoridad en una Iglesia sinodal.

    This article presents some keys to the Second Vatican Council’s vision of ordained ministry, articulating them around five fundamental perspectives: 1) the ecclesiological-pneumatological foundation of ministry and the overcoming of the traditional Christological framework; 2) the theological ratio identified in the guardianship of the apostolicity of the faith and in the service to the institutionalized ‘ecclesial we’; 3) the tripartite structuring; 4) collegiality; and 5) the abandonment of the scheme of the two potestates (ordinis, iurisdictionis) and the assumption of the model of the tria munera Christi. In each case we indicate the implications for rethinking power/potestas and authority in a synodal church.
