    La familia no solo cuida en el domicilio, también lo hace en el hospital, llevando a cabo una variedad de tareas, muchas veces difícilmente asumibles por los profesionales sanitarios sino contaran con su ayuda. Sin embargo, la familia es poco reconocida por la institución sanitaria. El propósito de esta investigación es conocer la percepción de las enfermeras y auxiliares de enfermería acerca del cuidado familiar en el hospital a través de sus propias palabras. Para ello, se lleva a cabo un relato grupal a través de la realización de un grupo focal, que refleja la contribución de la cuidadora familiar al cuidado intrahospitalario, al mismo tiempo que pone de manifiesto la carencia de atenciones hacia este colectivo por parte del sistema sanitario.

    The family not only takes care at home, they also do it in the hospital, carrying out a variety of tasks, which are often hardly manageable for health professionals if they did not have their help. However, the family is little recognised by the health institution. The objective of this research is to know the perception of nurses and auxiliary nurses about family care in the hospital through their own words. For that purpose, a group story is carried out through a focus group, that shows the contribution of the family caregiver to care in the hospital, while brings to light the lack of attention to this group by the health system.
