Resumen de La Alianza Global para la Cooperación Eficaz al Desarrollo (AGCED): una mirada desde el Perú

  La Alianza Global para la Cooperación Eficaz al Desarrollo (AGCED) es una plataforma que busca fortalecer la eficacia de la cooperación internacional para el desarrollo. Sin embargo, luego de diez años de existencia, no ha presentado los resultados esperados, en especial para América Latina y el Caribe (ALC). El objetivo general del presente documento es analizar el grado de eficacia de la cooperación promovida por la AGCED para ALC y en especial para el Perú. Esta investigación presenta dos resultados: (i) la AGCED no representa para ALC un espacio de vital importancia en términos de cooperación y (ii) pese a que el Perú ha demostrado liderazgo dentro de la AGCED, aún tiene muchos desafíos a los que enfrentarse. La importancia del estudio radica en que aborda el tema de manera integral y desde la visión peruana, análisis que no se encuentra presente en la literatura académica sobre el tema.

  The Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation (GPEDC) is a platform that seeks to strengthen the effectiveness of international development cooperation. However, after ten years of existence, it has not presented the expected results, especially for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The general objective of this document is to analyze the degree of effectiveness of the cooperation promoted by the GPEDC for LAC and especially for Peru. This research presents two results: (i) the GPEDC does not represent a vitally important space for LAC in terms of cooperation and (ii) despite the fact that Peru has shown leadership within the GPEDC, it still has many challenges to face. The importance of the study lies in the fact that it addresses the subject in a comprehensive manner and from the Peruvian perspective, an analysis that is not present in the academic literature on the subject.
