    Este libro presenta una reflexión sobre cómo hacer arquitectura con las instalaciones, es decir, lograr la integración de las mismas y aprovechar las sinergias entre el edificio y los sistemas técnicos para generar arquitectura.

    El libro empieza con una introducción en la que se describen los avances tecnológicos de los últimos 250 años, tales como el inodoro, la calefacción central, el ascensor o el aire acondicionado, y cómo se han ido incorporando progresivamente a la edificación, hasta el punto de que hoy no se concibe un edificio sin dichos servicios.

    This book presents a reflection on how to do architecture with installations, that is, to achieve their integration and take advantage of the synergies between the building and the technical systems to generate architecture.

    The book begins with an introduction describing the technological advances of the last 250 years, such as the toilet, central heating, the lift or air conditioning, and how they have been progressively incorporated into the building, to the point that today a building is inconceivable without these services.
