Resumen de De Johannes Romberch a Lodovico Dolce: la metamorfosis del Congestorium artificiosae memoriae

En el presente trabajo analizaremos la influencia del Congestorium artificiosae memoriae (1520) de Johannes Romberch en el Dialogo del modo di accrescere e conservar la memoria (1562) de Lodovico Dolce. La obra de Romberch es uno de los tratados de memoria artificial más reconocidos de su tiempo y, no obstante, debe gran parte de su difusión a la traducción italiana de humanista Lodovico Dolce. En estas líneas estudiaremos cómo el traductor modifica el texto original y los motivos que le llevan a ello.

In the present work we will analyze the influence of the Congestorium artificiosae memoriae (1520) by Johannes Romberch on the Dialogo del modo di accrescere e conservar la memoria (1562) by Lodovico Dolce. Romberch's work is one of the most recognized artificial memory treatises of its time and, nevertheless, it owes much of its dissemination to the Italian translation of the humanist Lodovico Dolce. In these lines we will study how the translator modifies the original text and the reasons that lead to it.
