    La relación de amor entre Dios y la criatura humana es comparada en varios pasajes de los Dialoghi d’amore con la que se da entre un padre y un hijo. Nuestro propósito es dar cuenta de la proximidad connotativa entre la noción del amor entre Yahweh y el pueblo elegido, tal como se halla en versículos de diversos libros veterotestamentarios, y la que postula Hebreo, para probar que aun dándose el intenso conocimiento del autor de las reinterpretaciones del amor platónico que hicieron ciertos pensadores vinculados a la Academia florentina, la concepción de aquel como compromiso afectivo que hallamos en las consideraciones de Leone Ebreo cabe que tuviera su origen como reformulación de la alianza.

    The relationship between God and the human creatures is compared, in several passages of the Dialoghi d’amore, to the one between a father and his son. Our aim is to give an account of the connotative approach between the notion of the love given by Yahweh to the chosen people, as it can be find in verses of some books of the Old Testament, and that postulated by Leone Ebreo, in order to prove that notwithstanding the deep knowledge that Leone possessed of the re-interpretations of Platonic love maintained by thinkers of the Florentine Academy, the conception of love as an affective engagement that we find in the Dialoghi could have had hs origen as a re-formulation of the Biblical covenant.
