El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar, a través de un testimonio inquisitorial de una mujer novohispana, la manera en la que se cuestionaban algunos de los principios doctrinales de la religión católica, aunque lo relevante de este documento es la forma en que se buscaba darle un nuevo sentido al imaginario del más allá, pues la denunciada despreciaba los gozos celestiales para gozar de los castigos infernales que, según imaginaba, consistían en acciones lujuriosas.

The aim of this paper is to show, through an inquisitorial testimony of a novohispana woman, the way they questioned some of the doctrinal principles of the Catholic religion, but what is relevant to this paper is the way in which it is sought to give a new meaning to the imagery of the afterlife, as the reported despised the heavenly joys to enjoy the punishments of hell, as imagined, consisted of lewd actions.
