Memorias recicladas y su uso ejemplar: Disputas por el pasado en el presente argentino

    El 10 de mayo de 2017 una movilización masiva desbordó las principales calles de Buenos Aires y otras provincias argentinas, en un acto de rechazo a la pretensión de la Suprema Corte de aplicar la medida conocida como Ley 2 x 1 a Luis Muiña, represor durante la última dictadura cívico-militar. Decenas de manifestaciones gráficas quedaron como vestigios de la protesta, entre ellas un grafiti con el símbolo del reciclaje y los rostros de Jorge Rafael Videla, Carlos Menem y Mauricio Macri. Lo que en un primer momento pudiese pasar como una crítica, es también la representación del tránsito que la memoria colectiva ha recorrido para construirse y reconstruirse en la era posdictatorial. Este artículo tiene por objetivo insertar a dicho grafiti como una representación de la disputa por el pasado en el presente argentino, y la manera en que ello influye para la construcción de la memoria colectiva en la Argentina.

    On May 10th, 2017, a massive mobilization overflooded the main streets of Buenos Aires and other Argentinean provinces to show rejection for the pretention of the Supreme Court to apply the norm known as Ley 2x1 to Luis Muiña’s case, judged as a repressor during the last civic-military dictatorship. Dozens of visual manifestations were left as vestiges of the protest, and among them, a graffiti with the recycle symbol and the faces of Jorge Rafael Videla, Carlos Menem, and Mauricio Macri. At first glance, what it looked like a critic, it was also the representation of the transit the collective memory has traveled to be constructed and reconstructed in the postdictatorial era. This paper aims to insert the so-called graffiti as a representation of the dispute for the past in the Argentinean present, and the way this influences the construction of the collective memory in this country.
