  • The increasing frequency of trans-boundary shipment of hazardous wastes the shifting of polluting industries from industrialised countries to developing countries, and the delay in the establishment of workable hazardous industrial solid waste management (SWM) systems in developing countries must already be producing serious environmental pollution which is not being detected due the lack of appropriate monitoring systems.
