Al hilo del descubrimiento en 2021 de los restos del antiguo puente sobre el Cidacos, damos a conocer los documentos referentes a esta infraestructura hidráulica, desde comienzos del siglo XVI hasta finales del XIX. Gracias a ellos conocemos los problemas causados por las frecuentes crecidas del río, así como la historia de las sucesivas ruinas y reconstrucciones del puente, su transformación y los motivos de su desaparición.

Following the discovery in 2021 of the remains of the old bridge over the Cidacos, we present the documents referring to this hydraulic infrastructure, from the beginning of the 16th century to the end of the 19th century. Thanks to them we know the problems caused by the frequent flooding of the river, as well as the history of the successive ruins and reconstructions of the bridge, its transformation and the reasons for its disappearance.
