    El objetivo de este artículo consiste en, presentar un resumen de los fundamentos legales que rigen tanto la regulación de las organizaciones cooperativas de ahorro y crédito fuera del sistema financiero peruano, así como los enunciados básicos de la normativa regulatoria prudencial, sobre la cual se ejerce la supervisión de estas la Superintendencia de Banca y Seguros por parte del Estado, por ser una actividad declarada de interés público por la ley, en protección del más alto interés patrimonial de la colectividad.

    The objective of this article is to present a summary of the legal foundations that govern both the regulation of cooperative savings and credit organizations outside the Peruvian financial system, as well as the basic statements of the prudential regulatory regulations, on which the supervision is exercised by the Superintendence of Banking and Insurance, as it is an activity declared of public interest by the law, in protection of the highest patrimonial interest of the community.
