La obra reseñada es producto del trabajo de un grupo de investigadores/as, cuya trayectoria se refleja en el estudio realizado sobre culturas evaluativas en el marco de la implementación del Programa de Incentivos a Docentes-Investigadores en la Argentina. Inmersa en la práctica de la evaluación, arroja abundantes detalles de los procesos y percepciones mediante los testimonios recogidos, en tanto observadores/as participantes como miembros de los Comités Evaluadores del proceso de categorización 2016-2018. Acerca al lector/a a la profundidad de las lógicas de funcionamiento del Programa para, finalmente, mostrar los perfiles de docente-investigador que alienta y sus múltiples tensiones entre docencia, investigación y transferencia.

This reviewed work is the product of the production of a group of researchers, whose long history is reflected in the study carried out on evaluative cultures in the framework of the implementation of the Incentive Program for Professor-Researchers (Programa de Incentivos a Docentes-Investigadores, for its acronym in Spanish, PROINCE) in Argentina. Immersed in the practice of evaluation itself, it provides copious details of the process and perception through the collected testimonies, as an observer and as participants, and even as members of the Evaluation Committees of the categorization process carried out between 2016-2018. This way, it brings the reader closer to the depth of the logic of operation of the Incentive Program and its complexities, to finally show the professor-researcher profiles that the program encourages and its multiple balances between teaching, research, and transfer.
