    Una fábrica textil puede albergar una biblioteca. Es necesa- rio adaptarla al nuevo uso, con todos sus requerimientos de programa, confort, normativos y de sostenibilidad. Pero debe hacerse entendiendo cuáles son los valores intrínsecos que hay que mantener, tanto valores formales como históricos, para que el edificio explique por sí mismo la historia que tiene detrás y la que tendrá por delante.

    Una fàbrica tèxtil pot acollir una biblioteca. Cal adaptar-la al nou ús, amb tots els seus requeriments de pro- grama, confort, normatius i de sostenibilitat. Però s’ha de fer entenent quins són els valors intrínsecs que cal mantenir, tant valors formals com històrics, perquè l’edifici expliqui per si mateix la història que té darrere i la que tindrà en el futur.

    A textile factory can house a library. It is necessary adapt it to the new use, with all its program requirements, comfort, regulations and sustainability.
