    El presente trabajo debe ser considerado, sobre todo, un aporte informativo. Su objeto fundamental es trazar las líneas de la filosofía política bajo la adhesión a la Iglesia católica en el Perú tomando como línea temporal el periodo republicano, en un arco que va desde la secesión formal del Estado peruano, desde 1822 bajo régimen formal de república, hasta el tiempo presente, lo cual implica un desarrollo narrativo, desplegado cronológicamente. Para esto se establecen cinco hitos, que han de hacer posible determinar las partes en que este texto se divide; la polémica sobre el carácter independiente y republicano del Estado peruano, donde la filosofía política de adhesión católica juega un rol significativo (1820-1844), el arco de tiempo que abarca la consolidación de la democracia representativa (1844-1864), luego el proceso de la romanización y normalización del pensamiento político católico (1864-1919), el pensamiento de entreguerras (1920-1945) y la consolidación de la filosofía política religiosa desde la II Guerra Mundial y la reforma litúrgica hasta la actualidad (1945-2021). El texto parte de la hipótesis de que el control pastoral de la jerarquía eclesiástica juega un rol escasamente relevante en la evolución de la filosofía católica del Perú que, por lo mismo, habría gestado genuinos rasgos locales.

    This work should be considered, above all, an informative contribution. Its fundamental objective is to trace the lines of political philosophy under the adherence to the Catholic Church in Peru, taking the republican period as the timeline, in an arc that goes from the formal secession of the Peruvian State, from 1822 under the formal republican regime, up to the present time, which implies a narrative development, unfolded chronologically. For this, five milestones are established, which must make it possible to determine the parts into which this text is divided; the controversy over the independent and republican character of the Peruvian State, where the political philosophy of Catholic adherence plays a significant role (1820-1844), the span of time that encompasses the consolidation of representative democracy (1844-1864), then the process of the romanization and normalization of Catholic political thought (1864-1919), interwar thought (1920-1945) and the consolidation of religious political philosophy from World War II and the liturgical reform to the present (1945-2021). The text starts from the hypothesis that the pastoral control of the ecclesiastical hierarchy plays a scarcely relevant role in the evolution of the Catholic philosophy of Peru, which, for the same reason, would have gestated genuine local traits
