    El artículo se enfocará en la cuestión del estatus actual de los derechos reproductivos de las mujeres en Polonia. La autora tratará de determinar qué tipo de cambios legales y políticos relacionados con la salud reproductiva de las mujeres en Polonia provocaron tan fuerte reacción de la sociedad polaca y cómo esta huelga general se convirtió en una revolución social y cultural, muy a menudo llamada por la prensa internacional «la revolución de los paraguas negros y de los relámpagos rojos». Al mismo tiempo, se enfatizarán las relaciones entre las protestas contra la prohibición del aborto y el triste atardecer de la democracia en Polonia

    The article will focus on the question of the current status of women's reproductive rights in Poland. The author will try to determine what kind of legal and political changes related to women's reproductive health in Poland provoked such a strong reaction from Polish society and how this general strike became a social and cultural revolution very often called by the international press «the revolution of the black umbrellas and the red lightning bolts». At the same time, the relationship between the protests against the abortion ban and the sad sunset of democracy in Poland will be emphasized.
