Resumen de Violencia de género: hostigamiento sexual y sexismo en las universidades

  El hostigamiento sexual y el sexismo son algunas de las formas en que la violencia de género se manifiesta y el recinto universitario no escapa de esta realidad, es más, es uno de los espacios donde más se manifiesta. Como escenario de este tipo de anomalías sociales, las instituciones universitarias, y los individuos que conviven en ella, están llamadas a tomar las medidas pertinentes, conjuntamente con las políticas de Estado, para erradicar este mal que aún en la actualidad aqueja a la sociedad. A través del método hermenéutico, se comparará las investigaciones que algunos autores han realizado sobre el tema al que han catalogado como un mal recurrente en el ambiente universitario, y que afecta de manera negativa al desarrollo académico, personal y social del universitario. Además Se empleó un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia donde participaron 927 estudiantes de I a X ciclo de las facultades de Ingeniería Económica, Ingeniería de industrias alimentarias y Administración Hotelería y Turismo; quienes luego de brindar su consentimiento informado, respondieron a una escala de nueve creencias.

  Sexual harassment and sexism are some of the ways in which gender violence is manifested and the university campus does not escape this reality, moreover, it is one of the spaces where it is most manifested. As the scene of this type of social anomaly, university institutions, and the individuals who live in it, are called to take the pertinent measures, together with State policies, to eradicate this evil that still afflicts society today. Through the hermeneutical method, the research that some authors have carried out on the subject that they have classified as a recurring evil in the university environment, which negatively affects the academic, personal and social development of the university student, will be compared. In addition, a non-probabilistic sampling was used for convenience where 927 students from I to X cycle of the faculties of Economic Engineering, Food Industry Engineering and Hospitality and Tourism Administration participated; who, after giving their informed consent, responded to a scale of nine beliefs.
