A partir de los estudios sobre la materialidad de la escritura en el Próximo Oriente antiguo se presentan vías de reflexión para el texto bíblico, entendido por la tradición hebrea como morada, en virtud de ciertos rasgos que comparten el Hebreo Bíblico y los textos mortuorios del Antiguo Egipto, necesariamente en diálogo con un escenario geográfico común en su génesis con el protosinaítico, y filológico con el afroasiático. El paso del “giro lingüístico” al “giro ontológico” que se verifica actualmente en las Ciencias Sociales fue lo que permitió ya desde hace miles de años la reconstrucción constante del pueblo hebreo en el TaNaK y nos puede iluminar hoy a nosotros occidentales de cara a un futuro que se enfrenta a la disyuntiva de la supervivencia de la especie humana gracias a la magia que los antiguos jeroglíficos egipcios todavía tienen para darnos.

From the studies on the materiality of writing in the ancient Near East, ways of reflection are presented for the biblical text, understood by the Hebrew tradition as a dwelling place, by virtue of certain features shared by Biblical Hebrew and the mortuary texts of the Ancient Egypt, necessarily in dialogue with a common geographical setting in its genesis with the Proto-Sinaitic, and philological with the Afroasiatic. The passage from the “linguistic turn” to the “ontological turn” that is currently verified in the Social Sciences was what allowed for thousands of years the constant reconstruction of the Hebrew people in the TaNaK and can illuminate us Westerners today with a view to the future that faces the dilemma of the survival of the human species thanks to the magic that the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs still have to give us.
