    El monasterio cisterciense de Santa María de Montederramo (Ourense) ofrece uno de los fondos documentales más ricos de Galicia, fruto de su opulenta trayectoria medieval y moderna. Se convierte, así, en un atractivo centro de estudio, con múltiples posibilidades de trabajo. En esta ocasión, la gran disponibilidad de fuentes escritas para el siglo XIII nos animará a analizar la evolución gótica de la escritura carolina en los documentos particulares de este espacio y su entorno. Este minucioso examen paleográfico nos permitirá conocer cómo se efectuó dicha transición gráfica; cuál fue su ritmo; y qué consecuencias tuvo, al menos, en el futuro inmediato.

    The Cistercian monastery of Santa María de Montederramo (Ou-rense) offers one of the richest documentary collections in Galicia, as a result of its opulent medieval and modern history. Therefore, it becomes an attractive space for analysis, with numerous and diverse study possibilities. In this case, the great availability of sources written for the 13th century encourage us to analyze the transition from the Caroline script to the Gothic script in the private documents of this space and its surroundings. This palaeographic approach will allow us to know how the graphic evolution developed; what was its rhythm; and what consequences it had, at least, in the near future.
