    En el contexto de la narrativa chilena de estas dos últimas décadas, ocupa un lugar destacado el género de la novela negra. Al interior de esta producción narrativa es posible advertir, en algunos casos, cómo se produce el deslizamiento de la figura del detective a la del antidetective, debido a las condiciones del mundo representado y a la inutilidad en la que ha caído su actividad. Ejemplar al respecto es la novela Colonia de perros (2010) de Gonzalo Hernández, en la cual se centrará el presente artículo

    The crime fiction genre has occupied a prominent place in the context of Chilean narrative during the past two decades. Within this narrative production, in some cases, the figure of the detective slips into that of the anti-detective, especially due to the conditions of the world being represented or to the perceived uselessness of the figure’s actions. Exemplary in this regard is the novel Colonia de perros (2010) by Gonzalo Hernández, which is the focus of this article.
