Resumen de ¿Hay lugar para el pensamiento religioso en el mundo microscópico?

Proponemos aquí una reflexión sobre la relación entre el pensamiento religioso y el descubrimiento y despliegue del mundo microscópico a través del siguiente recorrido. Primero vamos a preguntarnos: ¿qué puede aportar la religión a nuestra interacción con el mundo microscópico? Para ello vamos a recordar cómo distintas representaciones asociadas a la religión anticiparon distintas bases lógicas que ayudaron a entender la interacción entre múltiples niveles de organización. Después responderemos a la pregunta ¿qué puede aportar el mundo microscópico a la religión?, donde propondremos que el pensamiento religioso se comprometa con el descubrimiento y despliegue del mundo microscópico.

We propose a reflection on the relationship between religious thought and the discovery and unfolding of the microscopic world through the following journey. First we ask: ¿How could religion contribute to our interaction with the microscopic world? Here we will recall how cosmic visions related with different religions set the ground on the interaction between different levels of organization. Then we will answer the question: What can the microscopic world offer to religious thought? Here we will propose that religious thought should commit itself to the discovery and unfolding of the microscopic world.
