    Este estudio busca identificar qué representa la norma para los policías recién egresados de las escuelas de formación, así como la trayectoria de esta representación en la familia y los entornos educativos hasta llegar a la formación policial. Se hizo un estudio de caso mediante un cuestionario hecho a policías recién egresados de una escuela de formación en el Eje Cafetero. Como resultado, se encontró que los policías valoran positivamente la formación recibida y encuentran coherencia entre la norma y la práctica del oficio. Sin embargo, se evidencian también deficiencias que afectan su cumplimiento, en particular cuando salen de la escuela a cumplir con su deber, a causa de factores de riesgo que inducen a malos comportamientos, debido a tratos desiguales y algunas condiciones desfavorables de la prestación del servicio.

    This study seeks to determine what the norm represents for police officers who have recently graduated training and how this notion influences the family and educational environments throughout their training to graduation. A case study was carried out involving recently graduated police officers from a training school in the Eje Cafetero using a questionnaire. It was found that the police officers valued the training received positively, and coherence between the norm and the practice of the profession was established. However, shortcomings are evident that affect its compliance, particularly when they leave school to fulfill their duty. There are risk factors that drive bad behaviors, among them, biased treatment and some unfavorable conditions that affect the provision of the service.
