  • Catalonia has its own Hazardous Waste Program. Its philosophy is based on pollution prevention, hazardous wastes management, subsidiary principles, soil protection, the principle "Must pay who pollutes", Information Transparency the Catalonian Government program wants to get the most waste minimization as possible, using the elimination process only when there is no other alternative, recovering contaminated oils, and developing the law on environmental protection.
