    El presente estudio sociolingüístico versa sobre el heheo, la articulación debilitada de /s/ y /θ/ en situación explosiva, en la comunidad de habla de Loja (Granada). Sigue la metodología propia de la sociolingüística sincrónica, basada en la recogida de datos in situ mediante entrevistas grabadas con informantes locales. Se parte de la siguiente hipótesis: el heheo no es un fenómeno fonético propio del habla inculta; sino que está presente en el habla de todos los sectores de la población, independientemente del nivel socioeducativo del hablante. El objetivo principal es analizar qué sectores de la población incorporan este rasgo fonético en su habla. Tras el análisis estadístico de la variable dependiente (realización de /θs /) en función de diferentes variables sociales (sexo, edad y nivel educativo), se concluye que la hipótesis de partida se cumple: el heheo es un fenómeno transversal que no entiende de niveles socioeducativos.

    The present piece of research on sociolinguistics is focused on the heheo, the weakened articulation of /s/ and /θ/ phonemes at the beginning of syllable, in the speech community of Loja (Granada). This study is conducted by following the synchronic sociolinguistics methodology, based on data gathering on the ground through recorded interviews with local informants. It is hypothesised that the heheo is not a phonetic feature only used by uneducated speakers, but it is present in all the local population's speech regardless of the speaker's educational background. The main goal is to analyse which sectors of the population include this phonetic feature in their speech. After the statistical analysis of the dependent variable (pronunciation of /θs /) according to different social variables (sex, age and educational background), the starting hypothesis is concluded to be correct: the heheo is a transversal phenomenon that is not linked to the speaker's educational background.
