  • The European directive about dangerous waste incineration that was discussed by the Cabinet of Ministers of EC last June will have deep consequences on the profession. In this paper the author analyses the content of the directive. This, will mean an important step in waste incineration. Since 1975, many investigations have allow to reach a high technical improvement in analysis methods, smoke management, etc. Now, when European frontiers are dissapearing is necessary to set up rules to avoid that wrong management of dangerous waste imposes over others that offering real guarantees of environment protection.
