  • Manual sanitary landfill is presented as a technical and economical option, not only in urban and rustic cities of a population minor than 40 .000 citizens, but also in some marginal areas which daily produce lower quantity of 20 tn. If the cost of transportation allows, it can be advantageous the use of the same sanitary landfill by two or more countries. When it is used a manual technique, it only requires equipment to fit the place and the building of internal ways and digging of the foundations or covering materials in accordance with the advance and method of landfill.
