    El presente trabajo investigativo se refiere a la incidencia de la inversión extranjera en el desarrollo productivo de la Sociedad Terminal de Contenedores de Cartagena S.A (CONTECAR), donde se reitera de que la inversión de las empresas extranjeras es un factor importante que incide en el crecimiento de las economías emergentes como una fortaleza para el desarrollo productivo con fuentes extensas para el país.

    El objetivo principal de esta investigación es identificar la participación que ha tenido la inversión extranjera en las empresas del sector portuario de la ciudad de Cartagena, el cual se desarrolló, llevando a cabo una investigación de tipo documental, donde se hizo necesaria la elección de un puerto para limitar la información, es por ello que, consecuentemente, mediante el desarrollo del objetivo se pudo identificar el impacto del desarrollo tecnológico que ha tenido la inversión extranjera y se indica de qué manera las reformas tributarias disminuyen o incentivan la inversión en Cartagena, en este último de acuerdo con la temática abordada  se relacionó con las normas legales de Colombia.

    De igual forma se hizo pertinente, citar de manera directa los términos con relación al tema, para una mejor compresión del proyecto, que permita la interpretación practica del mismo, por otra parte, se consolido la información encontrada mediante un criterio de “análisis y discusión”, logrando así poder llegar a una conclusión que migre a unas recomendaciones acertadas.

    The present investigative work refers to the incidence of foreign investment in the productive development of the Container Terminal of Cartagena SA (CONTECAR), where it is reiterated that the investment of foreign companies is an important factor, which affects the growth of emerging economies as a strength for productive development with extensive sources for the country.

    The main objective of this research is to identify the participation that foreign investment has had in the companies of the port sector of the city of Cartagena, which was developed, carrying out a documentary research, where it was necessary to choose a port to limit information, that is why, consequently, through the development of the objective it was possible to identify the impact of the technological development that foreign investment has had and indicate how tax reforms diminish or encourage investment in Cartagena, in the latter, according to the subject matter dealt with, was related to the Colombian legal norms.

    In the same way it became pertinent to quote directly the terms in relation to the subject, for a better understanding of the project, which allows the practical interpretation of it, on the other hand, the information found was consolidated through a criterion of "analysis and discussion". Thus being able to reach a conclusion that migrates to sound recommendations.
