Resumen de El sistema de selección de los maestros de educación primaria a debate: Un estudio de caso

  El objetivo que se persiguió con esta investigación fue doble, por un lado, descubrir la idoneidad del proceso de selección de los aspirantes a Maestro de Educación Primaria en Castilla y León a la luz de los resultados del proceso y por otro, indagar acerca de las representaciones y percepciones generadas por las y los participantes respecto a dicho proceso. Como método, al centrarnos en la especialidad de Educación Primaria para esta comunidad autónoma en la última convocatoria, se ha optado por un estudio de caso implementado por el método mixto de triangulación concurrente. Por la parte cualitativa se han utilizado el grupo de discusión y el cuestionario abierto y el análisis de contenido, por la parte cuantitativa se han realizado pruebas estadísticas de hipótesis y correlaciones para los datos de las actas de calificaciones de dicho proceso para la mencionada especialidad en el año 2019. Como principales resultados se obtuvieron que el éxito en el proceso de selección y acceso de la Especialidad en dicha convocatoria venía muy influenciado por la evaluación de uno u otro tribunal, que las calificaciones de los ejercicios de la parte eliminatoria eran prácticamente la misma y que la experiencia docente previa no supone ninguna ventaja en las pruebas prácticas. Se concluye el estudio sugiriendo cambios en el proceso que garanticen la objetividad y reduzcan la aleatoriedad a la hora de conseguir la ansiada plaza de maestro de educación primaria por parte de los aspirantes

  The objective pursued with this research was twofold, on the one hand, to cover up the suitability of the selection process of the applicants for Primary Education Teacher in Castilla y León in the light of the results of the process and on the other, investigate about the representations and perceptions generated by the participants regarding this process. As a method, by focusing on the specialty of Primary Education for this autonomous community in the last call, we have opted for a case study implemented by the mixed method of concurrent triangulation. On the qualitative side, the discussion group and the open questionnaire and the content analysis have been used, on the quantitative side, statistical tests of hypotheses and correlations have been carried out for the data of the minutes of qualifications of this process for the aforementioned specialty in the year 2019. As main results were obtained that the success in the process of selection and access of the Specialty in this call was very influenced by the evaluation of one or another court, that the qualifications of the exercises of the eliminatory part were practically the same and that the previous teaching experience does not suppose any advantage in the practical tests. The study concludes by suggesting changes in the process that guarantee objectivity and reduce randomness when it comes to obtaining the desired position of primary education teacher by the applicants.
