  • In the explotation of a purification plant with activated sludges there are usually some problems inherent to the system of depuration. In this paper, we will try to define and explain these problems and to give advice, so that the effects they have have in the water quality and environment will be reduced. Some of these problems are the following: perturbation in the sludges bulking, Nocardia .foams, cleamers, aerosol, odours and noises.
