Resumen de De la avanzada estatal al extractivismo: efectos territoriales en la sociedad mapuce en Neuquén (fines siglo XIX-siglo XX)

  Este artículo indaga en las conexiones entre la avanzada estatal y el extractivismo en Neuquén, desde fines del siglo XIX y durante el siglo XX para observar las continuidades en los efectos territoriales, afectaciones en la sociedad mapuce en Neuquén, a partir del análisis de la avanzada estatal y extractivista. Para esto, sitúa la consolidación del Estado argentino en Norpatagonia mediante un proceso que es impugnado como ‘genocidio’, y analiza cómo éste se constituye como antecedente material y simbólico para la imposición de una matriz energética extractivista basada en la explotación de los bienes naturales. Asimismo, se pregunta de manera transversal por las formas de resistencia y organización del pueblo mapuce para la defensa territorial y sus expresiones locales en los períodos territoriano y provincial de Neuquén.

  This article explores the connections between the state advance and extractivism in Neuquén, from the end of the 19th century and during the 20th century, to observe the continuities in the territorial effects and the effects on Mapuce society in Neuquén, based on the analysis of the state and extractivist advance. To this end, it situates the consolidation of the Argentine state in northern Patagonia through a process that is contested as ‘genocide’, and analyses how this is constituted as a material and symbolic precedent for the imposition of an extractivist energy matrix based on the exploitation of natural resources. It also looks transversally at the forms of resistance and organisation of the Mapuce people for territorial defence and their local expressions in the territorial and provincial periods of Neuquén.
