En este artículo analizo el texto del Mural de los 96 Glifos del Cuarto 29-sub de Ek Balam comparándolo con las inscripciones del Edificio 10K2 de Xultun, Guatemala. Mediante los recientes desciframientos de las inscripciones de Xultun, se puede volver a examinar la parte previamente incomprendida del texto de Ek Balam. Con este método de intertextualidad puedo presentar una lectura revisada de la inscripción.

In this article I analyse the text of the Mural of the 96 Glyphs of Room 29-sub of Ek Balam, comparing it to another text found in Structure 10K2 located in Xultun, Guatemala. Based on the recent decipherments of the inscriptions of Xultun, the part of the text of Ek Balam that previously failed to be understood can be re-examined and with this method of intertextuality I can present a new reading of the inscription
