El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar las generalidades jurídicas relacionadas con el uso del metaverso, así como lo que conlleva por parte de los usuarios y las empresas que los alojan, reconociendo que las implicaciones de estas plataformas para la comunidad legal son enormes y abarcan todas las ramas del derecho. No obstante, lo anterior, lo cierto es que el metaverso no ha crecido a espaldas de las leyes ni mucho menos, de hecho, el marco jurídico que actualmente lo regula incluye leyes, reglamentos e instrumentos jurídicos que seguramente se adecuaran con las interacciones y actualizaciones que se deriven del uso de estas plataformas. Entre las principales problemáticas que se derivan del uso del metaverso, se tienen aspectos de aplicación general de derecho. Esto llevará a espacios jurídicos especializados en entornos digitales donde será necesario implementar espacios puntuales para solucionar las controversias de manera pacífica, de una forma rápida y efectiva. Esta investigación coincide con sus pares en cuanto a que la principal conclusión consiste en establecer criterios claros que sean aplicables a las plataformas para poder solucionar las situaciones y conflictos que surjan de estos espacios, evitando que los usuarios acudan a instalaciones físicas de los tribunales.

The objective of this paper is to analyze the legal generalities related to the use of the metaverse, as well as what it entails on the part of the users and the companies that host them, recognizing that the implications of these platforms for the legal community are enormous and encompass all the branches of law. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the truth is that the metaverse has not grown behind the laws, much less, in fact, the legal framework that currently regulates it includes laws, regulations and legal instruments that will surely be adapted with the interactions and updates arising from the use of these platforms. Among the main problems that derive from the use of the metaverse, there are aspects of general application of law. This will lead to specialized legal spaces in digital environments where it will be necessary to implement specific spaces to resolve disputes peacefully, quickly and effectively. This research agrees with its peers in that the main conclusion is to establish clear criteria that are applicable to platforms in order to solve situations and conflicts that arise from these spaces, preventing users from going to physical court facilities.
