(The work of) The Anti-Oedipus is marked by the influence of the three authors of suspicion. However, it is the shadow of Nietzsche that we can observe most clearly in Deleuze and Guattari’s critique and proposal. In this paper, we will analyse this influence in their first joint work, demonstrating how their critique of psychoanalysis is a project that continues the enterprise of tearing off masks initiated by the German philosopher.
