    En este trabajo realizaré una explicación y un repaso de algunas de las ideas expuestas por el filósofo francés Michel Foucault. Este filósofo tiene varias obras que han sido de interés al realizar este trabajo y formuló ciertas afirmaciones que hacen reflexionar a quien lea sobre él. A partir de sus ideas de poder, relaciones de poder, y locura, haré un análisis y lo trasladaré a la sociedad actual, para entender cómo es la salud mental en pleno siglo XXI. Para asegurar un mejor entendimiento y una mejor perspectiva, también se han buscado datos sobre las enfermedades mentales de hoy en día, tanto a nivel global como nacional (en España).

    In this paper, I will explain and go through some of the ideas exposed by the French philosopher Michel Foucault. This philosopher has multiple works and books that have been of interest while writing this paper, and he made certain claims that are bound to make his readers reflect. From his ideas of power, power relations, and madness, I will make an analysis and will take it to our current society, in order to understand mental health in the 21st century. To ensure a better understanding and perspective, data on current mental illness—both globally and nationally, from Spain—has been searched for.
