Transcribimos en las páginas que siguen la relación de un viaje inédito del siglo XVII que llevó de Zaragoza a Palma de Mallorca a dos religiosas para fundar en la isla un convento de clarisas capuchinas. En el estudio preliminar enmarcamos el viaje en elcontexto de las numerosas fundaciones conventuales que siguieron al Concilio de Trento. Se destaca asimismo la rareza de estas relaciones, excluidas de los diferentes repertorios bibliográficos, y se pone el acento sobre las dificultades inherentes al viaje tanto de índole administrativo-eclesiásticas como las derivadas del transporte, del alojamiento y, sobre todo, de la obligación de guardar la clausura papal.

In the following pages we transcribe the account of an unpublished 17th-century trip that took two nuns from Zaragoza to Palma de Mallorca to found a convent of Capuchin Poor Clares on the island. In the preliminary study we frame the trip in the context of the numerous convent foundations that followed the Council of Trent. The rarity of these relationships, excluded from the different bibliographic repertoires, is also highlighted, and emphasis is placed on the difficulties inherent to thetrip, both of an administrative-ecclesiastical nature and those derived from transport, accommodation and, above all, from the obligation to keep the papal closure.
