  Los derechos humanos presentan una paradoja. Han posibilitado tanto ladiscusión como también la visibilización de ciertos sujetos que, por diferentes razones,eran privados de la garantía de vivir libremente en sociedad. No obstante, la categoría"derechos humanos" es una invención dada en el marco de la legalidad y con base histórica luego de la Revolución Francesa, que responde a ciertos parámetros de una sociedad occidental e industrializada. La pregunta que surge es si dicha categoría termina generando un modelo homogeneizado de ser humano y arrasa con todo aquello que es diverso. Desde ese ahí, es importante remarcar el lugar que ocupa la escuela respecto a los espacios para conocer, analizar y criticar sobre cómo queremos vivir en sociedad y qué peligros conlleva no generar espacios de reflexión sobre nuestra condición de seres humanos

  Human rights are paradoxical. They have made possible both the discussion and the visibility of certain subjects who, for different reasons, were deprived of the guarantees to live freely in society. However, the category human rights is an invention within the framework of legality with historic basis after the French Revolution, whichmeet specific parameters of a Western and industrialized society. The question arises as to whether the human rights category emerges as a homogenized model of humanbeings and razes everything that is diverse. From this point of view, it is important tounderline the role of school creating spaces to know, analyze, and review how we wantto live in society and what dangers entails not generating spaces for reflection on ourcondition as human beings
