    En este artículo estudiamos la llegada del culto al Ángel Custodio a Zarago-za y las diferentes expresiones artísticas de esta devoción. En primer lugar, abordamos el desarrollo de la procesión en su honor. Después, nos centramos en la capilla del consistorio de la ciudad, aportando precisiones sobre la localización original del Án-gel Custodio de Pere Joan. Finalmente, analizamos el mecenazgo del canónigo Agus-tín Pérez (doc. 1568-1588) y las diferentes disputas que mantuvieron el concejo y el cabildo catedralicio a propósito de estas festividades.

    In this article we explore the arrival of the cult of the Guardian Angel in Zaragoza and the different artistic expressions of this devotion. First, we study the de-velopment of the procession in his honor. Then we’ll focus on his chapel in the city hall, providing details on the original location of the Guardian Angel by Pere Joan. Finally, we analyze on the patronage of Canon Agustín Pérez (doc. 1568-1588) and the different disputes between the city council and the cathedral chapter regarding these festivities.
