    Este artículo presenta algunas reflexiones sobre el concepto de la administración humanista, el cual ha venido tomando mayor relevancia al observar diferentes teorías y tendencias administrativas contemporáneas. Para ello, los autores ubican tres momentos diferentes en los que se presenta un breve recorrido por el desarrollo de la teoría administrativa, develando allí cómo el hombre siempre ha estado presente. En segundo momento recogen, a partir de algunas precisiones de carácter epistemológico, cómo la comprensión humanista se ha ido constituyendo como un eje favorecedor de una perspectiva interdisciplinar y transdisciplinar de la administración. Y, finalmente, se contextualiza la discusión respecto a la relación empresa y compromiso social.

    This present article reflects on the concept of humanistic administration, which has become more relevant when observing different theories and contemporary administrative tendencies. For this, the authors locate three different moments in which they try to specify in the first instance a brief tour of the development of administrative theory, revealing there how man has always been present. In the second moment, they gather from some epistemological details, how the humanist understanding has been constituted as an axis favoring an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspective of the administration. And, finally, the discussion regarding the relationship between company and social commitment is contextualized.
