This study analysed the effects of by-product supplementation of ewews during pregnancy and lactation on lambs slaughtered at weaning and during fattening period from supplementated or not ewes. The main objective of this study is to quantify the effects on fatty acid composition. The mean values of SFA decreased (from 33.36% to 31.47%) and MUFA increased (from 23.90% to 26.51%), in lambs slaughtered at weaning. Furthermore, it is found that the effect of dietary supplementation of silage tomato pulp during the fattening of lambs has no significant effect on fatty acid composition.
