Resumen de Hegel y el pluralismo estético contemporáneo

En este texto se parte de la pregunta acerca de si sería posible una interpretación en clave hegeliana de la situación del arte contemporáneo. Para ello se propone la revisión de dos asuntos clave de la estética de Hegel: uno, el de la conocida tesis sobre el carácter pretérito del arte, con frecuencia entendido como la tesis sobre la muerte del arte, y dos, el tema de la supuesta superioridad que tendría la fi losofí a respecto de la religión y el arte, que parece difícil de conciliar con la idea de que las tres serían formas del espíritu absoluto.

The aim of this paper is to investi gate the effect of Hegelian aesthetics to understand contemporary art. It is proposed to do this review two key issues of Hegel’s aesthetics: one, that of the well-known thesis on the preterite nature of art, often understood as the thesis on the death of art, and two, the issue of supposed superiority that would respect the philosophy of religion and art, which seems difficult to reconcile with the idea that the three forms of absolute spirit would.
