This article aims to analyze the access of Pernambuco family farmers to technical guidance. It is intended, therefore, to understand the dynamics of the distribution of the provision of technical services from different organizations. The research, of a quantitative nature, was based on the analysis of data from the 2017 Agricultural Census. Among the results, it was noticed that the performance of the different institutions was limited. But, even so, the government sector is the primary source of technical advice to the rural establishments. Also observed was that rural establishments run by men had proportionally more access to technical assistance than those run by women, as well as guidance aimed at landowners, organized farmers and those dedicated to livestock farming. Other aspects that stood out include tothe low number of farmers who had access to technical information through the internet and the high number of farmers without access to this information.

O presente artigo tem o objetivo de analisar o acesso dos agricultores familiares pernambucanos à orientação técnica. Pretende-se, assim, compreender a dinâmica de distribuição da prestação de serviços técnicos a partir das diferentes organizações. A pesquisa, de caráter quantitativo, alicerçou-se na análise dos dados do Censo Agropecuário de 2017. Entre os resultados, percebeu-se que a atuação das diferentes instituições foi limitada, mas, ainda assim, é o setor governamental a principal fonte de assessoramento dos estabelecimentos rurais. Observou-se, também, que os estabelecimentos rurais dirigidos por homens tiveram proporcionalmente mais acesso à assistência técnica que os dirigidos pelas mulheres, bem como predominou a orientação direcionada a proprietários da terra, agricultores organizados e que se dedicaram à pecuária. Outros aspectos que se destacaram se referemao baixo número de agricultores que tiveram acesso a informações técnicas por meio da internet e o número elevado de agricultores sem acesso a essas informações.
