Los huesos están conformados por un tipo de tejido que obedece las leyes de la mecánica debido a su gran heterogeneidad tanto en estructura, composición como comportamiento anisotrópico. Por este motivo, es importante profundizar en el campo del tejido óseo a través del estudio de las propiedades mecanobiológicas del mismo, para más tarde comprender las leyes mecánicas que rigen el comportamiento del remodelado óseo. De esta manera se lograrán entender los mecanismos de lesión ósea, así como su proceso de consolidación o recuperación. Bone is made up of a type of tissue that obeys the laws of mechanics due to its great heterogeneity in structure, composition and anisotropic behaviour. For this reason, it is important to delve deeper into the field of bone tissue through the study of its mechanobiological properties, in order to later understand the mechanical laws that govern the behaviour of bone remodelling. That way it will be possible to understand the mechanisms of bone injury, as well as its consolidation or recovery process.
