AbstractThe principal goal of the present exploratory and descriptive research was to evaluate the se-mantic meaning and spatial relationship of 15 behaviors related to mobbing. In a first study was used a group of judges from different universities. In a second study a multidimensional scaling was used as a technique to approach the representation of information. For that purpose a not probabilistic sample of 100 workers was selected from different companies of Mexico City. Our results, in both studies indicated that the mobbing was projected for four strategic kinds into multidimensional scaling: violent, hidden behavior violent, an action and consequences. It was also confirmed that mobbing is a process and not a phenomenon isolated. Furthermore, the report also describes the importance of the cultural contexts and of psychometry through the application of inductive methods.
