Conocimiento y fines morales: Sobre la filosofía en sentido cósmico

    Este artículo toma en consideración la distinción kantiana entre el concepto escolar de la filosofía o concepto de escuela y el concepto cósmico de la misma. De la filosofía en sentido cósmico destaca la idea del saber filosófico como brújula o instancia de sentido respecto a los demás saberes, de manera que estos sean orientados hacia el desarrollo de los fines morales o destino moral de la humanidad. En esta línea, la autora considera que el concepto kantiano de la filosofía en sentido cósmico enlazaría, por un lado, con la función sapiencial que la tradición asigna a la metafísica y, por otro lado, y al mismo tiempo, con esas líneas y autores de la filosofía contemporánea que critican el cientificismo y reclaman la necesidad de una interacción entre las ciencias positivas y la filosofía; por ejemplo, entre otros, Husserl y Habermas.

    This paper takes into consideration the Kantian distinction between the scholastic concept of philosophy or school concept and the cosmic concept of philosophy. Of philosophy in the cosmic sense, it emphasizes the idea of philosophical knowledge as a compass or instance of meaning with respect to other knowledge, so that these are oriented towards the development of the moral ends or moral destiny of humanity. In this line, the author considers that the Kantian concept of philosophy in a cosmic sense would link, on the one hand, with the sapiential function that tradition assigns to metaphysics and, on the other hand, and at the same time, with those lines and authors of contemporary philosophy who criticize scientism and demand the need for an interaction between the positive sciences and philosophy;

    for example, among others, Husserl and Habermas.
