    En el marco de una beca de investigación para alumnos avanzado de la Licenciatura en Enfermería se realizó un estudio con el propósito de identificar la existencia de alteraciones respiratorias en personas adultas mayores en un Hogar de residencia permanente de la ciudad de Rio Gallegos y describir los tipos de cuidados pertinentes que reciben. El   contexto de pandemia por Covid-19 alteró el acceso y el tamaño de la población objetivo. Los resultados reflejaron la ausencia de alteraciones respiratorias y se identificaron cuidados preventivos importantes como la vacunación y deficiencias que alertan sobre la necesidad de intervenciones educativas para los cuidadores.

    Within the framework of a research grant for advanced students of the Bachelor of Nursing, a study was carried out with the purpose of identifying the existence of respiratory alterations in older adults in a permanent residence home in the city of Rio Gallegos and describing the types relevant care they receive. The context of the Covid-19 pandemic altered the access and size of the target population. The results reflected the absence of respiratory disorders and important preventive care such as vaccination and deficiencies were identified that alert to the need for educational interventions for caregivers.
