Adaptación y validación de un instrumento para medir felicidad en el trabajo

      El propósito del presente estudio fue la adaptación y validación de una escala para evaluar felicidad en el trabajo. El instrumento original se tradujo al español (argentino) y los ítems fueron evaluados por expertos en el ámbito de la psicología laboral y organizational. Se ejecutó un estudio piloto con 60 empleados de distintas organizaciones para analizar la equivalencia operacional de la escala. Se elaboró un estudio principal a efectos de analizar las propiedades psicométricas del instrumento puesto a punto en el estudio piloto. En esta ocasión, se trabajó con una nueva muestra no probabilística integrada por 291 trabajadores. Sobre los datos recabados se ejecutaron análisis factoriales exploratorios y confirmatorios, los que indicaron una estructura unifactorial con adecuada consistencia (a= .91), confiabilidad compuesta (CR mayores a .70), y validez convergente (AVE mayor a .50). La adaptación argentina del instrumento quedó conformada por 9 ítems, demostrando ser una medida confiable y parsimoniosa de la felicidad en el trabajo.Resumen alternativo:The aim of this study was to adapt and validate a scale to measure work happiness. The original scale was translated into Spanish (Argentine) and the items were evaluated by experts in the field of occupational and organizational psychology. A pilot study was carried out with 60 employees in order to analyze operative characteristics of the scale. A main study was performed to analyze the psychometric properties of the instrument. This time, the nonprobabilistic sample comprised 291 workers. Factor analyses (exploratory and confirmatory) were executed over the data obtained. Both of them indicated a unidimensional structure with adequate internal consistency (a = .91), composite reliability (CR greater than .70), and convergent validity (AVE greater than .50). Argentine adaptation was conformed by 9 items and proved to be a reliable and parsimonious scale which allows to measure happiness at work.
