  En el año 1994 se descubren las pinturas murales del siglo XVIII que adornan gran parte de los paramentos y bóvedas de la Parroquia de Santa Florentina. Esto derivó en una actuación de restauración integral de todo el edi!cio y espacios adyacentes que duraron 28 meses. Hasta hoy han transcurrido casi 25 años y tanto el templo como las pinturas murales están en un buen estado general. Analizamos en este artículo el comportamiento de toda la edi!cación ante los agentes de degradación y el buen funcionamiento de las medidas de conservación preventiva aplicadas.

  In 1994, the 18th-century mural paintings that cover a large part of the walls and vaults of the Santa Florentina Parish are discovered. #is led to a comprehensive intervention and restoration of the entire building and adjacent spaces that lasted 28 months. Until today almost 25 years have passed and both the temple and the wall paintings are in good general condition. In this article, we analyze the behavior of the entire building in the face of degradation agents and the proper functioning of the preventive conservation measures applied.
