Resumen de Burnout, salud y bienestar en trabajadores docentes y administrativos de una universidad privada de Lima

    El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar las variables que predicen los componentes del burnout en una muestra de 226 docentes y 286 trabajadores administrativos que laboran en una universidad privada de Lima. Se aplicó el cuestionario MBI-GS para evaluar el burnout, el SF36 para la medición de la salud física y mental. Asimismo, se aplicaron la escala de Flourishing que mide el florecimiento y el SPANE que evalúa el afecto positivo y negativo. Ambas prueban se utilizaron para la medición del bienestar. Se hallaron correlaciones significativas entre los componentes del burnout y las variables sociodemográficas, laborales y psicológicas. Asimismo, el componente de salud mental y la satisfacción laboral son variables que predicen con mayor fuerza las dimensiones del burnout tanto en docentes como en administrativos.Resumen alternativo:The aim of the present study is to analyze the variables that predict the components of burnout in a sample of 226 teachers and 286 administrative university workers of a private university in Lima. The MBI-GS questionnaire was applied to assess burnout, the SF36 for the measurement of physical and mental health. Likewise, the Flourishing scale was applied to asses flourishing and the SPANE to asses positive and negative affectivity. Both tests were used to measure well-being. Significant correlations were found between the components of burnout and the sociodemographic, work and psychological variables. The mental health component and job satisfaction were variables that predict with greater force the dimensions of burnout in both teachers and administrators.
